Elisha Miller is a singer, educator, and conductor residing in the Washington, DC area. She holds a degree in Vocal Performance from the University of West Florida. As an associate conductor of the National Children’s Chorus, she works with some of the finest young singers in
the nation and prepares them for concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. She found her calling in church leadership during her early college days, where she became the executive assistant of a 1300-member church, and was heavily involved in the music program as an intern and assistant director of children’s music. Since then, she has served various churches in the United Methodist denomination as the director of music ministries. In addition to directing music ensembles, Elisha also finds joy in holding a private studio for voice and piano students, where some of her students’ successes include Florida All
State Ensemble invitations and callbacks for Broadway International. When not teaching, directing, or composing, Elisha can be found taking a long hike, turning a practice room into a recording studio, or making extravagant messes in the kitchen.
