Church covenant groups
Dear fellow members of CCUMC,
We would like to ask for input from our membership about how worship and church activities will serve our members best coming out of the pandemic. We want to preserve what we value in our traditional rituals and practices, but we also want to have fellowship in different ways and add new activities. Technology has allowed us to continue worshiping together and connecting for fellowship over the last two years, and we want to invite everyone in the congregation to participate in a series of small group gatherings in the next few months in hopes of rejuvenating our Christian fellowship with one another.
We would like to hear how you liked your church experience before Covid and what new things you might like to try. We are in a position to make changes big and small in many areas: Sunday services, music programs, youth programs, Sunday school for children and adults, regular Bible study and prayer groups and book study series, service opportunities, community outreach, etc. We are interested in knowing which areas are most important to you and your family and look forward to hearing your thoughts on how we can best meet the future needs of the entire congregation.
Please know that we value all of your input and will be contacting everyone in the coming weeks about joining a group of about 8 to 10 members for an hour of fellowship and sharing. We are looking forward to talking with you and learning about your experiences over the pandemic and hopes for the future as CCUMC reopens and recharges!
The grace of Jesus Christ be with you.
