Children

*There will be no Children’s Fellowship on December 24th and December 31st. The nursery will only be open for children under age 4* CHILDREN’S FELLOWSHIP Children’s Fellowship (our “new” name for what was traditionally called Sunday School) meets weekly on Sundays during The Current Service. Confirmation

The word confirmation means “to make firmer or stronger.” Confirmation is offered every other year at CCUMC. Youth in 7th through 8th grades through confirmation are invited to claim faith in Jesus Christ for themselves. Adults

We have opportunities for adults of all ages from young adults to seniors to gather together for education and fellowship. Many short term groups focus on Bible study and books of spiritual interest. All of them offer a chance for fellowship and the sharing of our faith. Programs and Lunch for Seniors (PALS)Seniors gather one Monday most months for a program and a delicious home-cooked lunch. CCUMC Preschool

Our church preschool has been operating for more than 50 years in the Chevy Chase community. It’s a place where parents are involved, teachers stay for years, and young learners are encouraged and nurtured in joy. The school provides a morning preschool program for children ages two through five years. Early morning and afternoon enrichment programs are also available. The preschool  program emphasizes learning through play and parental involvement.
