Tuesday Night Women’s Bible Study
Angels! What do you really know about them? The Tuesday evening women’s Bible study will be exploring David Jeremiah’s book Angels Who They Are and How They Help….What the Bible Reveals. People have long been fascinated by stories of angel sightings, yet many contemporary beliefs about angels are based on misconception and myth rather than on solid biblical truth. For the next 10 weeks starting September 21, 2021 from 7 – 9 PM via zoom, an enthusiastic group of women will be delving into learning about angels based on what the Bible tells us about them and it does tell us a great deal.
Please join in the learning! No previous Bible knowledge is required just a spirit of learning! For more information email loishendrickson@hotmail.
Programs and Lunch for Seniors (PALS)
Seniors gather one Monday most months for a program and a delicious home-cooked lunch. They enjoy a variety of musical, lecture and other types of programs. All are welcome – no age requirement. Click the link below to view the October PALS Luncheon!
Saturday Morning Men’s Group
The group meets from 7:30-9:00 a.m. on most Saturdays, schedules permitting, in the Wesley Room with the purpose of supporting each other as Christian men to recognize God’s presence, seek God’s guidance, and give thanks for the rich blessings in their lives. It is currently a group of 2-5 men per week. Please contact Bob Levering (bob.levering@gmail.com) if you’d like to join.
United Methodist Women
Women of all ages at CCUMC enjoy fellowship while learning and working together. Many meet in small groups monthly for fellowship and to work on a project, or study a specific topic like climate change or Israeli-Palestinian relations. All women are invited to a gathering and program four times a year. They raise funds at the annual Holiday Bazaar and Rummage Sale for local and international missions.
