What to expect

Is the church accessible?  All floors of the church are accessible using the elevator located at the main entrance from the parking lot. Worship services are on the second floor.

Where do I park?  We have some parking spaces available behind the church building. You may enter our parking lot from Shepherd Street. We do reserve three spots for visitors, and we also have two handicapped accessible parking spots. You are also welcome to park on the street in the Chevy Chase Section 3 neighborhood.

Can I use public transit?  We are just about 1.5 miles from the Friendship Heights Metro Station and the Bethesda Metro Station. A bus stop is at Shepherd Street and Connecticut Avenue, right in front of the church. Visit the DC Metro website for train and bus schedules.

What should I wear?  You are welcome to dress as you feel comfortable. Among the congregation, you will find people wearing jeans, business casual, suits and dresses, as well as children wearing soccer uniforms.

What opportunities do you have for children during worship?  We welcome all ages in worship. Families may choose to have children in worship. We also have children’s programming during our 9:30 am worship service.  Visit our Children’s ministry page to learn more.

Do I need to be a member to fully participate?  No. Everyone is welcome to participate in our programs, activities, and ministries.
