Creation Care

Mission Statement
Genesis 2:15 reminds us that the LORD GOD gave us this garden and we are to till and keep it – to be good stewards. We strive to faithfully live out our response to this mandate by educating ourselves and our congregation on how to care for Creation.  

We dedicate ourselves to act as advocates for improving our earth, mending its scars, and living gently upon it.  The Creation Care Committee, an informal group of volunteers, will work to propose actions which members and friends of CCUMC, both individually and collectively, inside and outside the church, can take to preserve the health and beauty of our earth.
