Gwendolyn Daniels

Gwendolyn Daniels: AV + Communications Manager (she/her)

Gwendolyn began working for Chevy Chase UMC in the AV and Communications manager role in October of 2025. She works to assist staff and members with communications relating to upcoming events, workshops, and special services. You can also find her running the sound and/or streaming on Sundays.

Gwendolyn graduated with her Master’s in Public Policy from American University in December of 2024. Her research and professional background are in juvenile justice policy, with a particular focus on the School-to-Prison Pipeline and Juvenile Life Without Parole sentencing. Her dream is to help influence policy that creates a more restorative justice system for youth and adults.

When she isn’t working, Gwendolyn can be found watching hockey, eating sushi, hanging with her cat, and catching up with her family in Arkansas. You can reach her at comms@chevychaseumc.org.
