the area homeless for which they can earn Service Learning Hours. They are a
group of caring and welcoming young people who are committed to growing in
their faith, treating one another with respect, and having fun! Our current group
consists of 20-25 youth.
Confirmation Class
Youth who are in 8th grade and above are invited to join a Confirmation Class
with a flexible schedule in the spring. The youth work at their own pace with
adult mentors. Class material covers the history and major doctrines of the
United Methodist Church and explores faith on a personal basis. Upon completion
students are confirmed as members of the church.
Music Opportunities
There are opportunities for youth to perform and lead worship in Faith Chords
and Faith Chords Xtreme.
Acolytes
Youth may assist in the traditional worship service as acolytes.
