WE HAVE A NEW DIRECTOR OF CONGREGATIONAL MINISTRIES.

Carol and familyCarol Armstrong-Moore has accepted the position beginning August 1, 2008. Carol is a clergy member of the Baltimore-Washington Conference on Honorable Location (this means her ordination rights are intact, but she is not subject to an Episcopal appointment). For the past 15 years she has been living in Tempe, Arizona with her husband Wayne, and twin boys (soon to be 10). She grew up in Cheverly, MD and has been a pastor at several churches in the Baltimore area. She has also been part of mission teams to Nicaragua and served a two-year mission term through the Board of Global Ministries in Argentina. During the past 15 years she has been on the staff of Motorola University and is pursuing a PhD in Philosophy and Religion specializing in education. The family will be moving to our area during June and July.

GIVING OF THE SPIRIT

CCUMC now has a new and exciting committee devoted to stewardship. The committee's goals are to address stewardship in all its facets throughout the year, not just as a concentrated campaign for pledges. We invite you to join us.
