Young Singers

Cherubim Choir
This choir of young children, Pre-K (age 3 and 4) through first grade rehearses on Sunday mornings during their Sunday school class. Our goal is to reinforce and give the Bible verses and Sunday school themes a musical expression, as well as to instill a love of music in our young children. They participate in worship at both services on several occasions throughout the year and enjoy participating in our annual All-Church Pageant presented during the Christmas season.

Faith Chords

Faith Chords
Our youth praise band rehearses on Sunday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The group, comprised of young people who are in second grade and up, includes singers and musicians on electric guitar, electric violin, and drums. They join in leading worship once a month at the 9:30 a.m. contemporary service and periodically sing at the 11 a.m. traditional service.

Faith Chords Xtreme
There are additional opportunities for youth in fifth grade and up to perform and lead worship as the group Faith Chords Xtreme. The emphasis in both Faith Chords and Faith Chords Xtreme is not on performing but on leading the congregation in worship.

Sanctuary Choir

Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir, Organist and Music Director provide the musical leadership for the traditional service (Sunday mornings at 11:00) and for special services throughout the year including Christmas Eve and Holy Week. Primarily made up of volunteers, we are fortunate to also have four professional soloists in the choir. Twice a year, the Sanctuary Choir presents a major choral work with chamber orchestra during the 11:00 a.m. service. Performances have included Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Mass in C, Bach's Magnificat and the Fauré Requiem. Rehearsals for the Sanctuary Choir are on Thursday nights from 8:00 - 9:30 and Sunday mornings from 10:30 - 10:50.
